REGISTER YOUR TRAILER

 

In order for a trailer to be legal, it must be registered through the state the trailer will be stored at. Every state has different restrictions and guidelines that must be followed. You will need to have your VIN Number and Trailer Specifications available when registering your trailer. Further documentation may need to be presented based upon your location. Visit your local DMV for further information.

 

LOCATE THE VIN NUMBER: On all RipTide Trailers you will be able to locate the VIN Number beside the tongue on the trailer. The number will be located on the aluminum directly next to the tongue of the trailer.

HOW TO LOCATE THE TONGUE: The Tongue is located at the front of the trailer.

PAPERWORK PROVIDED WITH RIPTIDE TRAILERS: You will receive a Manufacture Certificate of Origin and a Notarized Bill Of Sale. If additional paperwork is needed or required, please contact us before purchasing your trailer.

 

TEMPORARY PLATES: If you will be traveling from a different state to pick up your trailer we would suggest asking for the paperwork to be mailed to you in advance.
